The Duke of Cambridge, The Duchess of Cambridge and Sir Sir David Attenborough have launched the Earthshot Prize, 'the most prestigious global environment prize in history', seeking 50 solutions to the world's biggest environmental problems by 2030, with £50m to be awarded over the next decade.

The trio have also enlisted personalities including Cate Blanchett, Shakira and Queen Rania of Jordan to be part of the Earthshot Prize Council, and Prince William said on Instagram 'The @Earthshotprize council is a diverse, broad range of people from all around the world who I've been talking to over the last few weeks and months. We've got a really fantastic council together'.
